AN EVENING FOR YOU

Find your spot.
We'll guide the rest.

We begin with a welcome and gentle prayer, move into guided breathwork with worship music, then leave time to rest and reflect. No experience needed. You choose your pace.

01Settle in.

Find a comfortable place on your mat. We'll introduce the practice, answer questions, and offer a gentle opening prayer. You're welcome to join in or simply listen. A blanket and water help you settle in.

02Follow the breath.

Worship music creates space to turn your attention inward as Jordana and Christopher guide the rhythm of your breath. Notice what's present—thoughts, emotions, or the feeling of your body on the mat. An eye mask is optional, and you can pause anytime.

03Take your time.

As the rhythm softens, take time to rest and notice what stays with you. We'll offer space for prayer and reflection. Have some water, share if you want, or keep the experience personal. There's no particular feeling you need to leave with.

GET A LITTLE CURIOUS

Breathwork,
explained.

Breathwork uses the rhythm and pattern of breathing to bring attention to your inner experience. Guided cues, worship music, and movement invite you to notice what everyday busyness can drown out: how you feel, what you're carrying, and what you need.

Do I have to clear my mind?

No. You have breathing cues to follow and worship music to listen to. Thoughts can come and go. You can meet yourself as you are, without trying to make your mind perfectly quiet.

What might I notice during breathwork?

You might become more aware of physical tension, emotions, or thoughts you haven't had time to sit with. Some people describe a sense of release, calm, or renewed energy; others experience something quieter.

Worship and prayer offer space to bring that experience into your relationship with Christ, if you wish. Everyone's experience is different. Strong sensations aren't a goal, and you can return to your natural breath at any time.

What does the research say?

A 2023 review of 12 randomized trials involving 785 adults found a small to moderate reduction in self-reported stress with breathwork compared with control conditions. Study quality raised some concerns.

Read the review

A separate four-week trial with 400 adults found slow coherent breathing didn't outperform a matched breathing comparison for stress or wellbeing. These studies examined particular techniques, rather than our sessions; results aren't a promise about what you'll feel.

What if I feel uncomfortable?

Pause, return to your natural breath, and let an instructor know. Keep your breathing comfortable rather than forced. If you have health concerns, ask your health care provider about breathing practices before participating.

BEFORE YOU COME

Come curious.
Feel prepared.

Let's talk
Do I need experience?

No. We introduce the practice and guide you along the way. You can participate at your own pace, pause, or rest and listen.

Do I have to be Christian?

No. We lead in Christian prayer and worship, and welcome people wherever they are with faith. LGBTQ+ people are welcome here. You can join in, listen quietly, or take a moment outside. Participation in prayer is always your choice.

What if church has been painful for me?

You're welcome, even if faith feels complicated. We offer gentle prayer and worship without asking you to perform, share your story, or agree with everything. Join in, listen quietly, or step back whenever you need. Let us know what would help you feel comfortable.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes, water, and a mat or thick blanket. An eye mask, cushion, and light blanket are optional. Contact us before your visit about seating, accessibility, and what's provided.

See the what-to-bring guide
How do donations work?

There is no fee to attend. Giving is optional and supports the sessions. Ask the team how to donate at a session, or email us if you'd like to help.
